Another NFL week is coming, so we finally get to see who will get the big card upgrade this week.
Players now are having 89 OVR cards, with TOTW being the next promotion to go one step further. After a week of scoring and a stellar defensive performance, there are plenty of worthy candidates. If you want to recruit them in your Ultimate Team, you will need tons of MUT 24 coins.
Here's everything you need to know about Madden 24 TOTW 3.
TOTW 3 release time
The TOTW schedule for Madden 24 has changed, but thankfully it’s still in the same location every week!
TOTW 3 will be released on Wednesday 27th September at 1:30 pm ET/6:30 pm BST. Or at least, that's how it should be. Madden Ultimate Team releases are often delayed, so follow @MaddenNFLDirect on Twitter and we'll keep you updated on any delays.
TOTW 3 predictions
It's always hard to know exactly which direction the Madden team is going to go since a lot depends on the types of cards they have planned for the rest of the week.
But these are our picks for TOTW 3!
De'Von Achane
The Miami Dolphins offense plays like rockets, and they're sure to get multiple TOTW cards after a 70-point win to the Broncos. While Tua Tagovailoa could easily get a Champion card this week, we think the choice will be De'Von Achane. The rookie RB already had 83 OVR Ultimate Kickoff cards two weeks ago, but his 203 rushing yards and four touchdown totals cannot be ignored. Depending on what the Gridiron Guardians plan to do this week, he could be the best RB in the game.
Justin Herbert
The Chargers offense finally started firing on all cylinders this week, with Justin Herbert passing for 405 yards and three touchdowns. His primary target, Keenan Allen, who had 18 catches for 215 yards, could also get a big card, but we think Herbert will be the focus here. This cannon-equipped quarterback is almost also the team's leading rusher!
Davante Adams
The Las Vegas Raiders lost to the Steelers on Sunday Night Football but Davante Adams didn't. The All-Pro wide receiver was a bright spot for the Raiders against the Steelers' defense with 172 yards and two touchdowns on 13 catches.
Levi Wallace
Talking about the Steelers' defense, cornerback Levi Wallace had six tackles, four passes defended, and two interceptions in Sunday's game. This stat line easily makes him Defensive Player of the Week.
Rashan Gary
The Packers completed a stunning comeback against New Orleans, scoring all of their points in the fourth quarter to win 18-17. The driving force behind the win was Rashan Gary, who had three sacks.
Matt Gay
Kickers are rarely well-liked in MUT, but if we were to find a kicker in TOTW, it would be Matt Gay this week. The Colts kicker set an NFL record with four kicks of 50 yards or more, including the game-winning field goal in overtime. He already has an 83 OVR Elite card, so an 86 OVR TOTW would be nice!
Brock Purdy
Brock Purdy and the San Francisco 49ers continued to impress, defeating the New York Giants 30-12 in a game they controlled. Purdy had two touchdown passes and 310 passing yards and played a big role in the dominant win. He may not be the favorite heading into TOTW 3, but the young quarterback still has some decent chances to make it there.
D'Andre Swift
DeAndre Swift had another stellar performance in Week 3, helping the Eagles defeat the Buccaneers 25-11. The superstar RB rushed for 130 yards on 16 carries. We wouldn't be surprised if he appears in TOTW 3 after this show ends.
Challenges
As always, there should be three fairly quick and easy challenges in the game as TOTW drops. These rewards won't give you much, but you will get a TOTY token, and if you get all the tokens, you will be able to get a free TOTY player when the New Year promotion starts. Well worth your time!
