Madden NFL 21 is coming on August 25th, or even earlier if you get the game edition that includes early access, but are you ready to play it? More to the point, can your PC handle it? Let's review the system requirements. We will analyze the minimum and recommended requirements but first, let's talk about the mandatory ones. You will need a computer running Windows 10.
Did you know that you can get it for free? No tricks, no illegal stuff. You can just download it from the official website and install it. You don't need a key or license during the installation process. You can use Windows 10 as an unregistered user for as long as you want. However, you miss out on features such as customization and more. The good news is that it won't interfere with you playing games. The game runs on DirectX 11. You are already using Windows 10 so that is not really a concern.
Make sure you have at least 50GB of free space on your drive. Put the game on an SSD if possible for faster loading times and smoother overall experience. As you can imagine, you also need an active internet connection for online play. You can play Madden NFL 21 with a mouse and keyboard but it's best if you use a controller. There are numerous controllers for PC that fit all budgets so you'll have no issues finding one.
We've saved the most important requirements for last. Now we will discuss the RAM, CPU, and GPU. Madden NFL 21 needs at least 8GB of RAM to function. The recommended spec is 16GB. This is recommended for most games so you should have it already if you're playing other games as well.
If you have an AMD Athlon X4 880K or Intel i3-6100 or better, then you fulfill the minimum CPU requirements. The recommendation is AMD FX 8150 or Intel i5-3550. Both requirements are very decent. It doesn't take a powerful CPU to run the game.
The GPU is the most important component for games. You will need at least an AMD Radeon RX 460 or Nvidia GTX 670. These are old cards which are capable of running the game on minimum. The GPU recommendation is Radeon R9 270x from AMD or GTX 680 from Nvidia. Once again, these are last-generation cards. As we can see, Madden NFL is not a very demanding game. A decent computer configuration will suffice.
